What free tool do you want and how would you get it?

Getting something free always comes with a catch right? Well not necessarily if you’re an ITC1 member at Harbor Freight.
Today – March 20th 2026 – they are giving members a choice of three different free tools if you purchase anything in store. If you’re not a member but you spend $34.99 you also qualify.
Why I say it’s free for me is because since I took out membership in January I have saved somewhere in the region of $160 off their marked prices with special ITC deals and I have received 3 free buckets and then the sockets I got today makes 4 free items altogether.
This free gift campaign is only advertised on their website from what I can see and the free tools are not available at the register, you must pick it up yourself to avail of it. I had to ask for mine.
I’m not advertising for them, in fact most of their tools are sub par in my opinion but they certainly do have some gems in there if you choose correctly.
I have bought quite a lot for both my workshop and around the house and I’m happy with them, but my day to day tool of choice is snap-on and I make no apologies for it.
However I chose these Icon sockets to try them out at no cost to me and first impressions are – they’re an exact copy of a snap-on – they feel like they are quite good, will they last? Who knows? I’ll post about them again after I’ve used (and abused) them.
