Mercedes ML W164 Wandering Steering Fix
Does your Mercedes ML W164 have floating steering or feel like it’s wandering when trying to drive in a straight line? This relatively simple fix could be the cause.
The photo above shows the 4 bushings that hold your steering rack in place. It’s a very similar set up for the VW Touareg and a number of other vehicles. These are a very common wear item and are also commonly overlooked.
